Renee passed away peacefully from this life on January 15th at the age of 69, after a gradual decline in health from cancer.  She was surrounded and supported by family and friends during the last days of her life. 

Renee was born on December 1, 1956 to parents Charlie and Muriel Seifert in Consul, Saskatchewan where she grew up. She moved to Saskatoon where she spent majority of her life there with her husband Blaine and kids, Michael and Robin. She and Blaine moved to Calgary, Alberta in early 2000s to be closer to the kids and make a career change. They later retired  and moved to Red deer Alberta where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Renee is lovingly survived by her husband Blaine Thompson, 2 children (and spouses) Michael Clark (Kathy), Robin Edwards (Josh).. 4 grandchildren Brendan Clark, Hailey Edwards, Nolan Clark, and Jayden Edwards. A very special aunty Luella, brother Brant Seifert (Toni), sister Sandy Seifert (John). Nephew Brady Seifert (Amy) niece Cassidy Seifert and numerous cousins and extended family members. 

A memorial service/celebration of life will be held on January 31 at Eventide Funeral Home in Red Deer at 1pm. Drinks and light luncheon will be followed. All that knew her are welcome.
