Brian was a well known man in the concrete industry. He started out at 14 years of age working for Fort Construction in Edmonton. That’s what sparked his love of the concrete industry, so he and 2 of his uncles decided to venture out and start H.E.B Developers back in 1975 and it was incorporated in 1976. In 1985 H.E.B Developers was changed to the company name it is today, Proform Concrete Services. Brian was a hard worker and a go getter. He worked his whole life until his retirement in 2014. He was kind of a jack of all trades. He built our first home in Penhold, he fixed many of vehicles, built sheds, outbuildings and was always helping others with random projects. He honestly could and would do anything! Proform concrete was his life though and they just celebrated 50 years in the concrete industry and dad was so proud of that. What an honour for him to receive an award for his 50 years of service before his passing. He will be missed by many colleagues, customers, employees and friends.
Lastly, Brian absolutely loved his family, he loved his wife, loved his kids, and most of all he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He just loved his life, here and in Mexico (Mexico had his heart) he will be forever remembered in the Baja by so many wonderful people. Brian’s passions and hobbies were camping, golfing, deep sea fishing, travelling, hunting, visiting friends and family, a good drink of rum and a cold beer!
Cheers Dad,
You are missed more than you know, until we all meet again 💔 🕊️
Rest easy
