Five Red Deer Rebels players and a central Albertan were named to NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings for North American skaters on Monday.

Among those named from the Rebels ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft this summer are forward Beckett Hamilton (75th), defenceman Jiri Kamas (128th), forward Kalder Varga (164th), defenceman Cameron Dillard (195th), and forward Cameron Kuzma (211th).

Hamilton leads the Rebels with 29 points in 37 games this season, and Kamas, Varga, Dillard, and Kuzma were all acquired by the club before the trade deadline this month.

Meantime, Lacombe’s Daxon Rudolph, who suits up for the Prince Albert Raiders, was ranked sixth. The defenceman has recorded 42 points in 38 games.
