Mrs. Sharon Patricia Moberg passed away with her family by her side after a battle with cancer at the age of 81 years. She was born on August 14, 1944 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Sharon will be remembered by her children, Lorrie (Wayne) Sparks, Patty (Dwayne) Simpson, and Larry (Pam) Moberg; grandchildren: Brett (Meghan) Sparks, Reed (Tanis) Sparks, Melissa (Kirk) Williscroft, Riley (Julia) Simpson, Bailey (Brody) Holsworth, Kael Moberg, Ella Moberg and Colby Moberg; great grandchildren, Layne, Cooper, and Hayes Sparks, Von and Oakley Williscroft, Boone and Drey Sparks, Rem Simpson; her sister Sue Roosen, brothers in law Dale (Elita), Gary (Elaine), Wendell (Wendy) Moberg and sister in law Marilyn (Trevor) Mitchell and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was predeceased by her husband, of 53 years, Leonard, her mother and father Donald and Helen Peterson, her father and mother-in-law Oscar and Eileen Moberg, brothers in law Garth Moberg and Dennis Roosen. A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at the Innisfail United Church (4720 – 48th Avenue, Innisfail) on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Sharon’s family would like to thank Dr. Midtdal, Dr. Hrdlicka and special nurse Coreen Baumgardt from the Innisfail Health Care Centre, as well as all the staff at the Red Deer Hospice Society for your compassion and care given.
