Olga passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on December 13, 2025, surrounded by family at her home in Red Deer.

She was predeceased by her parent,s Andrew & Mary; sisters Margaret, Antonia, Mary, Anne, Sophie and Helen; husband Dave; daughter, Lynn (Leon); and son Douglas (Sharon).

Olga will be lovingly remembered by her children: Richard (Shauna); Carol(Andrew); Lorie (Erik); David (Leeann) and her grandchildren Brett, Lindsay, Morgan, Kalynna, Natalya, Julija, Lyvia, Claire, Erika, Jillian, Steven; sister Joanne; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Olga’s family was her greatest inspiration in her life and children were first priority. She raised 6, adored 11 grandchildren and loved working with other children in the church and school settings.

She was devoted to her faith and church. As a founding member of St Vladimir’s she started the UCWLC and resided as president for more than 8 years. Olga enjoyed travelling with her husband and supporting his work with the Knights of Columbus.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 1:00pm at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Church followed by internment at the Alto-Reste.

Memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Children’s unit and St Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Church
