Our family wants to share that our mom, Carole Sim, 85, a devoted mother and Nana passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved. Mom was born on April 5, 1940, in Standard, Alberta to John and Muriel Jensen.

Our mom was a devoted Registered Nurse for over thirty-nine years and dedicated her career to supporting exceptional care in her community. After retirement, mom continued to serve the Innisfail community for over nineteen years at the Innisfail Food Bank. Her years of service provided her with the opportunity to impact many lives, and she developed meaningful friendships with those in her community. Mom’s life was one of service, selflessness, and humility.

Mom will be remembered for the special relationship she had with each of her children and their spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She made each one feel special and unique and loved unconditionally. Mom is predeceased by her parents, John and Muriel, her brother Brian, her sister Barb,

and her brother-in-law Howard and her respective husbands Lorne and Wayne. Mom is survived by her three children, Terrie (Greg), Sandi (Troy), and Kevin (Nadine) and her brother, Terry (Pat) and her sister Betty-Ann. Mom will be deeply missed by her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren who affectionately called her ‘Nana’, as well as her nieces, nephews and many friends. Her memory will live on through her family, whose lives were enriched by her love and devotion.
