Larry Dale Walters

Larry Dale Walters of Penhold, Alberta passed away at the Innisfail Health Centre on November 15, 2025, at the age of 82 years.
Larry was born June 5, 1943, on the family farm near Dominion City, Manitoba, where he grew up and attended school. He married Geraldine Carriere and together they raised two children, a daughter, Angela and a son, Sheldon. They later welcomed twin granddaughters, Velecia and Violet.
Larry worked for many years as an autobody painter in Morris and Winnipeg, Manitoba, primarily painting school buses.
He enjoyed curling, watching hockey, and following the Winnipeg Jets and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Summers were spent camping with family and friends.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Angela; son Sheldon; granddaughters Velecia and Violet; aunts Edna Brad and Adeline Kein, as well as a plethora of cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine Walters and his parents Ted and Alma Walters.
The family would like to extend a Thank You to Innisfail Home Care and the staff of the Innisfail Health Centre for their care and support.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Morris, Manitoba.
