William “Billy” Fraser of North Port, PEI, has peacefully passed away at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 63 years. William was born on June 24, 1962 in Alberton, PEI to parents, Glen and Carolyn Fraser (nee Inman). Billy grew up in the fishing community of North Port, PEI alongside siblings Freddy and Carol- Ann In 1985, at the age of 22years, he graduated from trade school in Toronto, Ontario as an Automotive Technician. In 1990, Billy returned to PEI, where he opened the Cascumpec Service Centre, a longstanding pillar in the community. This is where Billy thrived, helping those in the community. Lovingly remembered by his son Glenn Fraser (Kaia); his adored grandchildren, Wilder and Maisie; his brother, Freddy Fraser (Wendy) and sister, Carol-Ann (Wade)Fraser; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. Billy will be deeply missed for his kind, generous heart, strong work ethic and the quiet way he showed love to those around him. A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Port Community Hall in July 2026. Time of Billy’s celebration to follow at a later date.
