Ronald Herbert Simonson of Red Deer, Alberta passed peacefully surrounded by his dear family on November 7, 2025 at the age of 91 years.

Throughout his life, Ron was passionate about so much…classical music, photography, designing, building and flying model airplanes, fishing, hunting, camping, stamp collecting and all things wood.

Seeing people smile and laugh meant so much to Ron.  May those who remember him, smile and see that spark in his blue eyes, thinking of time spent together.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverley; daughters Donna (Randy) and Karen (Bruce); six grandsons Noah (Carli), Jesse (Iko), Daniel (Sandi), Jordan, Jeremy, Dylan (Katie) and all will have so many fond memories of their time spent together, these they will cherish. Ron was delighted in having six great grandchildren, Joshua, Khloie, Eli, Halle, Jonathan and Melanie. He will also be missed by Reham, Michael, Mark and Mina, his special family.

Ron was predeceased by his eldest daughter Corrine

A family celebration has been held in his honour. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
