Two start times for Red Deer Rebels game this Saturday, dependent on World Series

Oct 29, 2025 | 11:01 AM

The Red Deer Rebels understand the Blue Jays fever running rampant across Canada.

That’s why they’re setting two possible start times for this Saturday’s matchup against the Swift Current Broncos.

The game is slated to start at 6 p.m. but that will only happen if there is no Game 7 in the World Series.

If there is a Game 7 between the Jays and Dodgers, then Saturday’s Rebels game will begin at 3 p.m. from the Centrium.

“We, like many Rebels fans and Canadians, are captivated by the Blue Jays run to the World Series,” says Merrick Sutter, Rebels Senior Vice President.

“This potential change, if required, will allow our fans to enjoy our game Saturday afternoon and also be part of what would be a marquee moment in Canadian sports history. Go Jays Go!”

A post-game skate with the team will take place regardless.

The Rebels also play tonight in Calgary at 6 p.m.

They do not play on Halloween Friday, the night of Game 6 in the World Series.

Game 5 of the World Series, meanwhile, also goes tonight at 6 p.m.

All Rebels games can be heard live on 106.7 REWIND Radio.
