We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Angela Teresa Van Hee of Bowden, Alberta on September 30th, 2025 at the age of 64.

Angela was born to parents Frances and Joseph Van Hee on April 22, 1961, in the small town of Hinton, Alberta. She started schooling in Chetwynd, BC before graduating high school in Beiseker, AB in 1979. She went on to Red Deer College for one year before beginning full-time work as a bookmaker/chambermaid. Angie met the love of her life, David Barbour, in 1988 and began a family soon after. Building a family was her life-long dream and her life revolved around her four children and two grandchildren. Her love was shown through “full-bellies”, and she would stop at nothing to be there for her family. Angela was predeceased by her parents: Frances and Joseph Van Hee; her siblings: Cathy McGinnis and Anthony Van Hee. She is dearly missed by her partner David Barbour; her children Robert Barbour, Jennifer Arthurs (Derek), Yvonne Barbour and Sharon Barbour; along with her grandchildren Beau and Carmen and step-grandchild Paige; her siblings Michelle, Connie and Vernon. Angie’s zest for life hailed from the love of her family and she is forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 12 at 12:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel in Olds (5226-46 Street).
