It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Joyce Elaine Neal (Webb) of Raven, Alberta passed away at Red Deer, Alberta on September 14, 2025 at the age of 86 years.
Joyce was born in Manville on March 21, 1939 to Grace and Wyndham Webb. In 1956 she moved to Calgary to pursue a career as a Nursing Assistant. She later worked a short time in Wetaskiwin, Alberta before joining the staff at the Innisfail Hospital.
On November 21, 1959, Joyce married the love of her life, Ken Neal, and together they raised two children, Audrey and Allen. Joyce’s life was filled with family and the joys of helping on the farm, tending to her garden, baking her delicious pies, handicrafts and reading. She also enjoyed travelling and treasured time with family and friends.
Joyce is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Audrey (John) Graham of Airdrie, Alberta and her son, Allen (Susan) of Raven, Alberta as well as her grandchildren, Shannon (Luiz Felipe), Caitlin, Kendra, Curtis (Lawrie) and Lacey (Dylan) and her great grandchildren, Kyla, Olivia and Lucas and her brother Laurence Webb of Manville, Alberta and her sisters, Phyllis McAllister of Innisfail, Alberta and Judy Wysocki of Vermillion, Alberta. Joyce was predeceased by her loving husband, Ken and also her sisters, Doreen Wharry, Vi Budzilka and Gertie Roder.
A Private Family Service will be held at the Raven Log Church where she will be laid to rest with Ken.
