Mrs. Shirley ‘Faye’ Ricalton (nee Thorkman) passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the age of 83 years. Faye was born on April 24, 1942 at Eckville, Alberta to Jacob and Mary (nee Holland). Faye spent most of her days at home raising her two sons. After they were grown, she worked at Walmart as a greeter. Faye always had a story to tell and loved a good laugh. You could always find Faye on the telephone having a good laugh with her friends. Faye is loving remembered by her sons, Jason (Donna) and Tony (Susanna); her granddaughters, Annika and Makayla; her step-grandchildren, Zane and Amber and her step-greatgrandchildren, Harley, Kayden and Oaklen.
She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Richard; her niece, Susan Mears and her family that were always very dear to her heart, as well as many family members and dear friends. Faye was predeceased by her husband, Neil Ricalton; and her brothers, Bobby, Jimmy and Wilford.
