1947 – 2025
Heather Ann Flett passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the age of 77 years. Heather was born on July 13, 1947 at Regina, Saskatchewan to George and Rena Flett. Heather was the oldest of six siblings. She resided in Regina until moving to Red Deer in August 2004. Heather’s interest has always been nursing. After graduating from the Wascana Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences with her RN, Heather practised her nursing career at the Regina Rehabilitation Hospital until leaving Saskatchewan. Upon arriving in Red Deer, she worked at Bethany CollegeSide Nursing Home. Heather loved her husband, Ed; her family; animals of all types and getting her hair and nails done. Heather will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Heather will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ed Perrin; her sisters, Jean Flett, Rena Flett, and Lori Flett, all of Regina, Saskatchewan; her special nephew Justin Flett of Vancouver, British Columbia; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Heather was predeceased by her parents, George and Rena Flett; her brothers, Edward and Garth Flett; her uncle, Peter Flett; her nephews, Luke and Aaron Flett. A Celebration of Heather’s Life was held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Heather’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Humane Society at www.cahumane.com.
