Mr. Ralph Kenneth ‘Ken’ Rhodes passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, with his family by his side, after a battle with cancer at the age of 83 years.
Ken was born in Red Deer, Alberta on December 30, 1941 and grew up on a farm near Haynes, Alberta. He was a tinsmith and ran his own Heating and Air Conditioning business. Ken loved the outdoors and spent many memorable days camping, fishing, hunting and berry picking with friends and family. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and curling. He was an excellent baker and gardener and took great pride in his tomato harvests each season.
Mourning his loss are wife, Gloria, his daughter, Aileen (Dale) and his brother, Mark. He was predeceased by his daughter, Corinne.
There will be no Funeral Service at Ken’s request. If desired, Memorial Donations in Ken’s honor may be made directly to a charity of one’s choice.
