Darcy Schan

February 8, 1968 – June 26, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, father,
grandfather, Darcy Lee Schan. Darcy passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025 with his
beloved wife Darlene of twenty-five years by his side.
Darcy is deeply missed by his son, Kurtis (Jessica); granddaughters, Erica-Rae, Rosa-Lea,
Mikaela and Mekenna, daughter; Kortney;
grandson, Bentley; granddaughters Gabriella and
Charlotte and son, Robert.
Also mourning the loss of Darcy are his mother,
Sylvia; brothers Don, and Jim (Monique) along
with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Darcy was predeceased by his father Duane and older brother Darren.

Darcy’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

There will be two Celebrations of Darcy’s Life to be held on:
Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Bowden Friendship Hall, 2133 – 18 Avenue, Bowden, Alberta.
Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1:00 – 6:00 PM at Shaughnessy Community Hall, 133 – 3 Street, Shaughnessy, Alberta.

All who knew Darcy are welcome to attend either or both gatherings to share stories, memories, and celebrate a life well lived.
