1958 – 2025
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Charlene Louise Hollen at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 67 years. Charlene was born on February 25, 1958 at Drumheller, Alberta to Clarence and Edna Yaeger, and was raised in Fort St. John, British Columbia. She settled in Red Deer, Alberta in 1981. Charlene was a member of the Girl Guides of Canada as a Brownie, Guide and Ranger which culminated in her attending a Jamboree in Norway. Charlene had a successful career with the TD Bank and retired after forty-five years. She enjoyed her retirement and relished finding a great deal and spending time shopping with friends and family. Charlene was loved by everyone that knew her and is gone but not forgotten. Charlene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-eight years, Clifford Hollen; her mother, Edna Yaeger; her siblings and their spouses, Curtis, Sheldon, Brady and Tracy; as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Charlene was predeceased by her father, Clarence Yaeger in 2007. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Charlene will be interred with her father at a cemetery in Fort St. John, British Columbia.
