Events happening for Emergency Preparedness Week, May 4-10

A variety of events are happening in Red Deer for Emergency Preparedness Week, which runs May 4-10 across Canada.

Events include:

  • May 4 – International Firefighters’ Day
  • May 5 – There is a free, virtual emergency preparedness session hosted by Be Prepared Alberta – that is available to all public (have to register by May 4) — REGISTER
  • May 7 – AEA Alert testing – time to think about how you can plan for emergencies. — MORE INFO ON MAY 5 TEST
  • May 10 – Red Deer Emergency Services Command Unit will be at Touch-A-Truck (Westerner Park) sharing information about emergency preparedness. — MORE INFO
