On now, Red Deer’s ‘Middle Schools Awesome Art Show’ celebrating 40 years

The 40th annual Middle Schools Awesome Art Show runs April 15 until May 12 at downtown Red Deer’s Kiwanis Gallery (located downstairs at the library).

Per presenters, the Red Deer Arts Council and Red Deer Public Library:

“From delicious papier mâché sculptures to bold prints, and spring time themes. Come and see middle school students see the world with unique eyes. What will catch their eye this year? This annual exhibit delights its audience with a variety of works expressing these young students’ talents as they experiment with different subject matter and media.”

The exhibit’s First Friday opening, at which you can meet the student artists, runs from 5:30 to 7:30 on May 2.
