George Kent Burren

He was predeceased by his parents Harold & Ethel (Palmer)); his wife of 57 yrs Marie(Sullivan); infant granddaughter JodyAnn Marie Burren; sister Louise & Arthur Baptie; brothers and sisters in-laws; family; friends.

Survived by Sons Douglas (Chris); Richard; Don (Colleen); Dave (Lesa). Daughters Margaret (Sandy)Pfaff, Janet (Allan) Gongaware; Loretta Greenwood. 19 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren. Brother in laws Robert Smyth, William Clapham.

Kent was born in Regina Saskatchewan, raised in Calgary Alberta. Kent was a carpenter by trade. He married Marie in 1957 where they lived till they bought the farm in Delburne in 1970, where they continued to raise the family. Kent loved woodworking, farming, family, camping, boating, fishing, riding his motorcycle, race cars, classic cars, museums, road trips to Banff, Radium Hot Springs, B.C.

A family burial will be held at Delburne April 14, 2025.
