Nominations for Red Deer’s Rising Sport Stars awards now open

Nominations are now open for the 2025 Red Deer Rising Sport Stars awards.

Eligible athletes are 12-years-old or younger, and must be participating in a Red Deer sport organization.

The awards recognize commitment, passion, effort or for overcoming adversity to successfully participate and develop skills, regardless of result.

This year, the awards will be presented at the Bower Sun Run: Saturday May 10, at the Bower-Kin Community Centre. More information about the award ceremony and timing will be announced closer to the event.

Nominations are accepted via online form and must be submitted prior to the nomination deadline of Monday, April 21, 2025 at 12 p.m.
