Innisfail RCMP arrest 16, conduct 22 arrest warrants over three days

Mar 11, 2025 | 5:23 PM

Innisfail RCMP, with assistance from the Alberta Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Sheriffs Support Team (FASST), arrested 16 people over a three-day span earlier this month.

This was the result of a targeted enforcement operation attempting to locate and arrest alleged offenders currently on warrants in the Innisfail and Red Deer County areas.

From March 4-6, 16 people were arrested and 22 arrest warrants were conducted.

“These arrest warrants ranged from provincial violation to Criminal Code warrants,” Innisfail RCMP say.

“During the three-day operation, officers conducted dozens of door knocks and phone calls. Innisfail RCMP and FASST would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding.”

The arrests included a 50-year-old from Red Deer, who was a parole offender and on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at-large

Innisfail RCMP note that they conduct operations like this multiple times throughout the year to ensure public safety, and to ensure participants of the justice system complete the required process.
