1942 – 2025
Mr. Cesar Atienza Tecson of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, surrounded by his family, on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the age of 82 years. Cesar was born and raised in Tondo, City of Manila, Philippines. He attended Far Eastern University in Manila, for Commerce. Cesar was an active member of the Catholic Apostolic Movement (Cursillista) and was a very active participant in Community Civic Services. He was appointed an arbitrary member of our community. Cesar will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Raymunda Tecson (nee Balatbat); his sons, Cesar B. Tecson, Nelson B. Tecson, Joel B. Tecson and Donato B. Tecson, all of Red Deer, Alberta, and his four daughters-in-law, Josephine Valerio Tecson, Cherryl Gatdula-Tecson, Maria Teresa Tecson and Rosabel Bauzon Tecson, all of Red Deer Alberta. Cesar was predeceased by his parents, Emiliano and Cecilia Tecson and his siblings, Efren, Susan and Wilfredo Tecson. A Public Viewing and Prayer Service was held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 and Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
