Math achievement on the rise at Red Deer Public Schools, division shares
Red Deer Public Schools (RDPSD) says math scores have notably been trending upward since January 2023.
Highlights include a six per cent increase in Math 30-1 diploma results last June, with Red Deer Public students achieving an average four per cent higher than the rest of the province.
There was a three per cent jump in Math 30-2 diploma results, that leading to being 1.6 per cent higher than Alberta’s average.
In Math 9, the percentage of students achieving the acceptable standard on the Provincial Achievement Test (PAT) has grown by 12.8 per cent over the past two years.
