It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert ‘Rob/Bob’ Balsdon, beloved father, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the age of 72 years. Robert was a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan, with a passion for motorcycles that spanned many years. Robert found joy in the open road and the freedom it brought. He also had a deep love for eagles, admiring their strength and majesty, qualities that mirrored his own spirit. A kind and gentle soul, Robert had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. His infectious positivity and warm-hearted nature left a lasting impression on all who met him. Whether in casual conversation or quiet moments of support, he always knew how to brighten the lives of those around him. Robert is lovingly remembered by his two children, Candace Balsdon, Shawn Balsdon, and his brother, William Balsdon. He will be remembered not only for his passions but for his unwavering love and generosity of spirit. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Robert. You will forever ride the open roads of our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
