It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, Aimee Lee Wilson (nee Pickering) at her home, on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the young age of 45 years. Aimee was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. She graduated Grade 12 at LTCHS in Red Deer, and went on to complete an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. In 2012, she met her soul mate, Dennis Wilson. She moved to Delburne, Alberta, and they were married in 2016. On October 11, 2017, Aimee became a mom to Daylen Alexander, and began her most loved and important role, being a stay-at-home mom. You could find her arranging numerous play dates for Daylen, when she wasn’t rushing him off to swimming, soccer, baseball and now, hockey. In their down time, she liked to do arts and crafts with him or play outside. She was always thinking of new adventures or activities for him. Aimee loved camping, especially at the family lake lot. This is where she would get to spend time with all her family and friends she cherished so much. She loved nothing more than big holidays, family/friend get togethers, and especially Christmas. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Aimee will be remembered by her loving husband of twelve wonderful years, Dennis and her most precious gift, her son, Daylen. She will also be sadly missed by her mother, Deb; her stepfather, Tony; her father-in-law, Jim; her mother-in-law, Susan; her sister, Mandy (Mark); her stepsister, Marcia (Mike), her step-brother, Derek (Glynis); her brother-in-law, Chris (Alana); and her brother-in-law, Kyle (Brandi). She was a favorite auntie of many nephews and nieces. Aimee was predeceased by her dad, Terry Dale Pickering; her grandparents on both sides, her uncles, Ab, Herb, Jim, and Ron and her cousin, Clayton.
