Mr. Arthur Edward Livingston passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the age of 79 years. Arthur was born on August 9, 1945 at Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Clara and Stanley Livingston. Arthur lived in the Sylvania, Saskatchewan area where he attended school and worked in the family auto wrecking business. In the early 1980’s, he headed out west to Hinton, Alberta where he made his home for over forty years. He worked at the coal mine for many of those years until an injury made it impossible to continue working there. He then continued on with his passion of vehicles. He was always buying, fixing, selling and keeping some for his own collection. Mechanics was his time, spent from morning until evening helping many friends and neighbours over the years. Arthur will be sadly missed by his children, Tricia (Clayton), Sandra (Ken), Darrell and Michael; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sisters, Patricia (Gordon) and Betty; his brother, Robert; numerous family members and dear friends. Arthur was predeceased by his son, Gail; his parents, Clara and Stanley; and his siblings, Ivan, Harold and Linda. A Celebration of Arthur’s Life will be held at a later date in Sylvania, Saskatchewan.
