We remember Carrie Joan Knutson-Klevgaard who passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on December 3rd, 2024 at the age of 65 years. Carrie had a kind, beautiful, loving soul and was greatly loved by everyone who knew her.
Carrie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, May 13th, 1959 to Bernt and Eleanor (Scott) Knutson. She lived in Lethbridge, Calgary, Red Deer then came to Innisfail where she lived the rest of her life. Carrie graduated from Innisfail High school in 1977, she then went onto work at Bowden Nursery, then to the Treasury Branch for several years. Afterwards she joined the family business, Innisfail Transfer Limited where she still was working. Carrie loved to go on vacation with family. She visited Disneyland more than once, Mexico, Norway. Her favourite place to be was Sandpoint, Idaho where she loved being on the boat or lounging in the pool.
On July 19th, 2002, she married the love of her life, Miles Trent Klevgaard, whom was the son of family friends her whole life. Together, Carrie and Miles shared a lot of happy moments and memories in their thirty-five years together.
Carrie is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Miles, her mother, Eleanor Knutson, her brother, Scot Knutson and her two special nieces, Reese and Madison, her parents-in-law, Gary and Caran Klevgaard, her two aunts and numerous cousins. Carrie is predeceased by her father, Bernt Knutson and grandparents Harry and Grace Scott, and Mons and Irene Knutson.
Carrie had a great love for her family and friends. She always seemed to know where everyone was, what they were doing and especially how they were. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
