Rebels acquire Cole Peardon from Raiders

The Red Deer Rebels announced on Tuesday they’ve acquired 18-year-old Cole Peardon from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for 18-year-old Evan Smith.

Pearson is a former first-round selection in the 2021 WHL Prospects where he was taken 13th overall by the Raiders.

The Outlook, Sask. native has 27 points in 126 career games in the Western Hockey League. In his third season in Prince Albert, he has one goal and two assists for three points in 16 games.

Smith had just one goal and four assists in 28 games this season with the Rebels. Overall, he had nine points in 85 career WHL games. He was taken 95 overall in the fifth round of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
