Three arrested with weapons and drugs in north Red Deer
Red Deer RCMP have arrested and charged three people in relation to an incident which took place the afternoon of Nov. 13 on the city’s north end.
Mounties say it was 3:45 that day when the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team located an unoccupied vehicle, which had reportedly been stolen, at a north-end business in the area of 52 Avenue and 77 Street.
Members surveilled the vehicle until people returned to it, then made the three arrests.
Fentanyl and multiple weapons, including a sawed-off shotgun, were located in the vehicle, police say.
