9th annual Red Deer Christmas Wish Breakfast just around the corner

The ninth annual Christmas Wish Breakfast in Red Deer is fast approaching.

The event, which draws upwards of 1,000 people. is set for 8-11 a.m. on Nov. 24 at Westerner Park’s Harvest Centre.

To attend for a free hot buffet breakfast, including pancakes, simply bring a donation of a new and unwrapped toy, or new clothes and toiletries for infants or teens.

Organizers are requesting no stuffed animals.

There will also be a visit from Santa and other special guests, raffles, a 50/50 draw, and there will be an attempt to fill a fire truck with items for the Red Deer Food Bank.
