Red Deer neighbourhoods to see increased police presence during training exercise
Red Deer RCMP will be providing officers with advanced training opportunities from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 6 in the neighbourhoods of Inglewood and Vanier.
Residents should expect to see an increased police presence, including Police Dog Services, General Duty officers, Emergency Response Team members and use of the Remote Pilot Aircraft System.
These exercises, which may cause elevated periods of police activity in the area, are conducted in a controlled environment and do not pose any danger to the public, RCMP say.
Red Deer RCMP thank the community for its understanding and support as it conducts these exercises in an effort to ensure officers are well-prepared to protect and serve. By keeping residents informed, Red Deer RCMP aims to maintain transparency and minimize any potential disruptions during this essential training.
