QUINCY — The MLR champion New England Free Jacks have added to their Canadian content, signing Brock Webster and Josiah Morra for the 2025 season.

The two join a New England roster already featuring Canadians Cole Keith, Foster DeWitt, Andrew Quattrin, Josh Larsen, Conor Keys, Kyle Baillie, Gabe Casey, Ben LeSage and Isaac Olson. Fellow Free Jacks Cam Nordli-Kelemeti (Fiji/Canada) and Ethan Fryer (U.S/Canada) hold dual citizenship.

Webster, from Uxbridge, Ont., can play both wing and fullback. A former member of the Toronto Arrows, he was named Rugby Canada’s Young Player of the Year in 2018 and led Canada in scoring at 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens.

The five-foot-11 180-pounder has won nine caps for the Canadian 15s side.

Morra made his sevens debut for Canada at the age of 18, was Canada top sevens try-scorer in 2023 and made his 15s national team debut against the Netherlands in 2022.

The five-foot-11 207 pound wing from Toronto is part of Kingsley Jones’s 32-man roster for Canada’s games against Chile and Romania later this month. Morra has already won 22 caps for the Canadian 15s side.

New England won the Major League Rugby title in both 2023 and ’24.
