November 23, 1941 – October 23, 2024
Eugene is survived by his loving spouse, Margaret, whom he married on February 27, 1965. They spent their early married life in Brandon, Manitoba, followed by a decade in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, before returning to Pilotat Mound. Three years ago, they moved to Lacombe, Alberta.
He is also survived by:
• Paul Desrochers (spouse Christine, children Michael and Neit)
• Fay Bosgra (spouse Pete, children Zach, Josh, and Lucas)
• Rosaire (child Rosanna)
Eugene had a diverse career as a high-pressure pipe welder, plumber, and pipe fitter, ultimately retiring as a school custodian. A true jack of all trades, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, music festivals, mechanics, and carpentry, and could fix just about anything.
An animal lover, Eugene cherished his late dog Sadie and found joy with his loyal sidekick, Willow.
A celebration of life will be determined for summer 2025.
