Mrs. Beverley Ann Brown passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the age of 86 years. Beverley was born on October 6, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to parents, Fred and Lydia (nee Selk) Stiller. She grew up in Grandview, Manitoba until her parents moved to Winnipeg in 1956. Beverley went on a blind date that was set up by a co-worker. At the time, who knew that it would be the love of her life for over sixty-six years. Beverley married Victor Cecil Brown on April 5, 1958. Their first child arrived on June 7, 1961, a son, Bradley Alan Brown. The second child arrived on December 20, 1963, another son, Douglas James Brown. With a young family, they moved to Red Deer, Alberta to start a new chapter of their life. Beverley enjoyed bowling and curling. When bowling came to an end, she and some other ladies would look after other lady bowler’s children. She started to do less childcare when the first grandson arrived on June 15, 1986, Ryan Michael Brown. Then, she stopped altogether once the second grandson arrived on August 11, 1988, Derek James Brown. She would beam when her grandsons were over. Even when they were adults, she beamed when they visited. Then, the great grandsons arrived, first, Weston Brown on December 15, 2012, and Rueger Brown on August 18, 2016. When the grandsons and great grandsons visited, she was in heaven, with a smile that would last well after they had left. Beverley will be lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-six years, Cecil; her two sons, Brad (Vicki) and Doug (Laurie); her two grandsons, Ryan and Derek; and her two great grandsons, Weston and Rueger. She will also be sadly missed by her two sisters, Irene and Lorraine; her two brothers, Bob and Ed (her twin), as well as other family members and dear friends. Beverley was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lydia Stiller.
