Our Best to You Handmade Market returns to Red Deer Oct. 25-27

The Our Best to You Handmade Market is back in Red Deer this month, carrying on a community tradition that began in 1991.

Running Oct. 25-27, Our Best to You is the largest fall craft fair in Red Deer, spread out over 67,800 square feet at Westerner Park, and featuring more than 140 vendors from as far away as Charlottetown, P.E.I. and Comox, B.C.

Artisans and vendors will be selling everything from ceramics glass, metals and wood, to leather, jewelry, textiles and paper products.

There will be fine foods, traditional fruitcakes, fudge and so much more.

“It’s a unique event to pick up very delicious treats,” says master baker Cynthia Baumgardt, who’s family fruitcake recipe goes back fives generations. “Many of the exhibitors’ products are not available in retail stores. It’s a time to purchase a gift that will not collect dust.”

Until Oct. 18, tickets are just $5.25 for seniors and $6.75 for adults. Youths 17 and under enter free.
