A hole-in-one, plus a top-10 finish for local golfers at recent tournaments
Local golfers have wrapped up another slate of competition across the country.
Starting last week, Tim Hollman of Olds shot a final round +6, which dropped him 32 spots down the leaderboard where he finished T45th with a final score of +8.
But earlier in the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship at The Carleton Golf and Yacht Club in Manotick, Ontario, Hollman hit a hole-in-one and was in 13th headed to the final round.
Red Deer’s Derek Crichton finished T57th, finishing +11 with a third round 69 (-1).
