Vining Philip Benoit passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Innisfail, Alberta at the age of 68 years. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman, green thumb, lover of the outdoors, a hard-worker and above all else, dedicated to his family. Vining is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Rieanne (Mark), Lindsey, his son, Clayton (Megan), his granddaughter, Norah and his grandson, Drew. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers, Sergei (Rena), Rene (Evelyn), Bart (Cory), Mark (Andrea), his sisters, Michele (Rod), Marcia (Bob) and numerous extended family. Vining was predeceased by his wife, Joanne in 2008, his sister, Jackie in 1997, his father, Joseph in 2008 and his mother, Jean in 2024. Joanne and Vining married on March 18, 1978 and resided together in Innisfail for twenty-eight years. Vining had often said Joanne was the love of his life.
