CASA Mental Health holding fundraiser on the green

CASA Mental Health, a non-profit that delivers wrap-around services to Albertans three- to 18-years-old, invites residents and businesses to their central Alberta Golf Classic fundraiser on August 12.

Join CASA Mental Health for a day on the green to support child, youth and family mental health in Alberta. Held at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club, the tournament features hosted food and beverages, hole-in-one opportunities, proximity prizes and draws, followed by a banquet.

Registration opens at 11:30 a.m., and the shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Tickets are $300 for an individual golfer, and $1,200 for a team of four.

Registration includes your golf ticket and mulligan package, lunch, dinner, and an opportunity to win an assortment of prizes. There is also a chance to win $500 if you can outdrive the CASA CEO, Bonnie Blakley.

CASA is expanding throughout Alberta to meet the growing need of kids and families. Introducing services like mental health classrooms and a trauma program in central Alberta is vital for kids and youth who need a higher level of support than is available in their community, but who shouldn’t have to go to a hospital, representatives say.
