Fifteen-year-old Eileen Park of Red Deer has won the 2024 Alberta Women’s Amateur Championship.

Competing at the River Spirit Golf Club west of Calgary this week, Park hit all 18 greens in the third and final round, and drained three birdies for a scorecard of 69.

Park (73-73-69) wins the title by two strokes over Jenna Bruggeman (72-72-73) of Edmonton. Bruggeman led by two strokes after the first two rounds.

“One of my biggest goals for this year was winning this tournament, so it feels amazing to finally get it done,” Park told Alberta Golf. “I hit all the greens today which was pretty easy; I just had a good flow with it. I’m really proud of myself. My next goal is to win the Canadian Am now.”

The 110th Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship is set for July 29 to August 2 at Royal Colwood Golf Club in Victoria, B.C.

Other central Alberta golfers’ results:
