It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. William ‘Gordon’ Simpson on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the age of 66 years. Gord was born on October 10, 1957, at Drumheller, Alberta. Gord loved going to car shows, spending time with his family and tinkering on anything he could. There wasn’t a day you wouldn’t find him going for coffee, or his usual walk. Gord was a truck driver for over forty years. He would never leave you without a good story or a smile. Gord will be lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-seven years, Laurie; his children, Chris Simpson and Michelle (Kyle) Richards; his siblings, Pat (Larry) Ross, Fred (Joanne) Simpson, Betty Daily, Ken (Mona) Simpson, Les (Carol) Simpson, Curtiss Lund and numerous other family members and dear friends. A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at a later date. Please contact Laurie for further details.
