Central Alberta Theatre launches “Buy a Seat” Fundraiser

Central Alberta Theatre (CAT) is thrilled to announce the launch of its “Buy a Seat” Fundraiser.

Officials say its an exciting opportunity for the community to contribute to the enhancement of the beloved black box Studio Theatre while leaving a personal legacy.

As part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to improve the theatre-going experience, CAT officials say they have invested in new, extra-comfortable seating for the black box studio. These seats are expected to provide the audience with a more enjoyable and accessible experience during performances. Now, CAT is inviting patrons, supporters, and the local community to join them in making the new seats even more special.

Through the “Buy a Seat” Fundraiser, individuals and organizations can purchase a seat dedication for just $100. Officials say this contribution allows for a message with up to 25 characters (including spaces) to be added to an elegant sign to be installed inside the black box Studio Theatre, visible at all times even when chairs are put away, ensuring a lasting recognition of the donors support. An additional line of text can be added for $25, allowing for more personalized messages.
