Tradition lives on in returning lacrosse tournament
The Red Deer Lacrosse Association’s “Tradition Lives” tournament returns May 17-20 and has 50 teams participating.
Divisions include U9, U11, U13-B, U15-B and U17-B, with the participating teams gathering from across Alberta and some from B.C.
This year, the tournament, which started in 1991, has partially moved to the G.H. Dawe Community Centre, while it’ll continue to emanate partly from the Kinsmen Community Arenas.
Extra attractions include a 50/50 raffle, a liquor raffle, and loonie stick draws amongst the raffle tables at the events, or you can shop this year’s vendor, Slash Lacrosse at the Kinsmen Arenas.
