Potential traffic disruptions near Lacombe-area rest stop over weekend

RCMP are advising motorists of potential traffic disruptions over the weekend due to an ongoing protest occurring on the QE II at the Juniper Lake Rest stop.

RCMP advise that often times these protests have included vehicles conducting a “slow roll” consisting of a small convoy of vehicles driving below the speed limit on the highways.

Motorist are advised to expect delays or take alternates routes.
