Mrs. Margaret Ellen Bolze (nee Greenwood) passed away at Bethany CollegeSide, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the age of 90 years. Margaret was born on January 8, 1934, near Lousana, Alberta to Doris (nee Rollinson) and Christopher Greenwood. As a child, she attended school in the Trenville area. After leaving school, Margaret trained as a Certified Nurse’s Aide in Calgary, and she worked in that profession until 1995, when she retired. She married Fred Bolze in 1969 and lived in Springvale Heights until being hospitalized due to ill health. Margaret used to enjoy going to and hosting tea parties for her friends and neighbours, attending church at St. Leonard’s On The Hill and St. Paul’s (Hillsdown). As well as the tea parties, she loved visiting with family and friends and her precious French Pug dogs were her favourite pet. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by numerous family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Bolze in 2016, her parents, Doris and Chris and her brother, Heely Greenwood. A Private Family Interment will be held at the Trenville Cemetery, at a later date, where she will be laid to rest near her parents and her brother.
