Dale Thomas Heighington

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dale Thomas Heighington on April 22, 2024, in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 76. Dale was predeceased by his son Kent, parents Oliver and Edna, brother Keith, sister Irene (Cooman) and brother in law Brian (Thorsen). Dale is survived by his son Desmond, his partner Evelyn Kheong, brother Larry (Maureen) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale’s departure will be greatly felt by his family and others that cared for him, including his recovery community and those he helped. He was a man defined by his work and work ethic, taking pleasure in both the challenge and the friendships he made in the process. He will be remembered as a loving father and partner, for his appreciation of a good laugh and his personal motto UOK IOK.
