Elsie Pearl Howard

A wonderful wife, mother and Gram, Elsie (Wasylciw) Howard of Red Deer AB, who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, passed away April 23, 2024, at the Red Deer Hospice Society.
Elsie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Murray and sisters Rose and Terry; children Jerrett (Denise), Andrea (Kent), Shannon (Darryl), grandchildren Ashley (Craig), Christian, Isabella (Kelvin), Hannah (Chandler), Jessica, Sydney (Cameron), Nicola, & Serafina, great grandchildren Madeline & Chloe as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Elsie was predeceased by her parents Walter and Alice, sisters Sonia and Virtue, brother-in-law Bill and granddaughter Antonietta.
Her love of family, friends, and sports (particularly curling) will always be remembered in our hearts. Elsie was an active member in Beta Sigma Phi, her community, and St. Leonards on the Hill Anglican Church. A special thanks to the staff at the Red Deer Hospice Society.
A funeral service will be held at St Leonards on the Hill as well as a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date this summer. Memorial donations can be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society or the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Condolences to Elsie’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
