Connie Miller

Constance Marie Miller was born on December 7, 1951 at Lloydminster, SK to Felix and Anna Draves, the youngest in a family of seven children. Connie passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 72 years.
She graduated from high school in Lloydminster and hairdressing school in Edmonton, then returned to Lloydminster to work in Lorna’s beauty salon at the Co-op store.
Ron and Connie Miller were married in Lloydminster on April 24, 1976, the beginning of a life long partnership. Son Michael was born in 1979 and daughter Kelsey in 1983. In 1980 they opened R and R Alignment where they worked together every day for 24 years. In 2004, they closed R and R and Connie went to work at Sobey’s in the bakery department.
Connie was very good at working with the public; as a talented stylist at Lucy’s Salon, a competent manager at R and R and most recently as the smiling face in the bakery department at Sobey’s Connie was a caring daughter, a hockey Mom, a Bingo fan, a devoted Grandma and a superb home maker.
Connie will be sorely missed by her husband Ron, her son Michael and his wife Blair and their children Cullin, Rian, Everett and Kessler, her sister and brother in law, Marilyn and Gary Kerr, her brother and sister in law Dick and Donna Draves, her sister in law Pat Draves and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Kelsey, her parents, Felix and Anna, and her brothers, Eugene and his wife Alma, Dennis, Billy and his wife Judy and Brian.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150 67 Street, Red Deer, AB at 11:00 on Friday, April 26.
