A byelection forum is taking place in Red Deer Monday evening in advance of the April 22 byelection to fill a currently vacant Red Deer city councillor position.

Monday’s byelection runs from 5:00 p.m-6:00 p.m. at the Golden Circle (4620 47A Avenue), and is hosted by the Red Deer Construction Association, BILD & Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce.

There are 10 candidates in the running to fill the vacant councillor position, following the passing of former councillor Michael Dawe last December.
