With profound sadness the family of Mrs. Nella Grace Winter Marshall announces the passing of their wife, mother, grandmother, and sister on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the age of 66 years in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. Nella was born in Calgary, Alberta on December 4, 1957. Nella enjoyed handicrafts of all kinds and over the years made various clothing, wedding dresses, wearable weights, costumes, blankets, knit sweaters, and hats. Many family and friends treasure articles made by her skillful hands. Nella loved to spend time at the lake with her family and close friends, waterskiing, watching the grandkids play and leading campfire singalongs. She also loved to travel, dance and jazzercise. Nella and James owned and operated Marshall Brothers Construction, Wildrose Excavating, and Marshall Construction Company. Nella will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-one years, James Marshall, her children, Shawn (Janessa) Marshall, Jinelle (Eric) Themig, and Logan Marshall, and her grandchildren, Marek, Wyatt, Fallon, Archer, and Atlas. Nella will also be sadly missed by her sister, Ellen (Glen) and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
